Amazing Indianapolis Scavenger Hunt Adventure

Urban Adventure Quest has created this interactive experience combining the idea from the Amazing Race with a 3-hour sightseeing tour of Indianapolis, Indiana, through a scavenger hunt.

Using a smartphone as the guide participants make their way among well-known and overlooked gems of the city while solving clues, completing challenges and having fun while learning about the local history. Participants can start the tour when they want to and determine their own pace of play, maybe stop for a bite to eat or some shopping.

Groups can be as many participants as they want to be, although it is recommended to not be more than 5 persons on each team. If larger groups break up into smaller groups they need to purchase a quest access for each team using a unique email and password. With more teams within a group it can be made into a competition of the best score and time, for a bit of extra fun.

Points of interest included in the scavenger hunt are American Legion Mall, Indiana World War Memorial, Monument Circle, Indiana Capitol Building, Indiana Canal Walk and Indiana State Museum.

The tour consists of at least 2 miles of walking so comfortable shoes are recommended.

Lexington: Fully Guided Zipline Canopy Tour

This 2.5 hour experience takes place above the historic and spectacular Boone Creek Gorge. With 6 ziplines, 3 suspended bridges, a spiral and floating staircase, and a rappel, participants get to see this hardwood forest from a different view.

The tour starts at the welcome center where participants get to meet their guides, get their gear and get some instructions, before practicing their braking as each person is in control of their own brake.

Once participants step onto the course they don’t touch the ground again until after the finish. The course starts off slow and low and works its way up to the larger zips through building confidence and skill, one bit at a time. Once ready it is time to fly across the gorge.

After the course is completed participants get picked up to return to the welcome center.

This is a family friendly tour; however, it is not suitable for pregnant women or people over 270 lbs/122 kg.
